A few days ago, I started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money as a rainy day account for my final product. I am hoping to raise approximately, $600 by the end of April. Though it is a relatively new way of fundraising, crowdsourcing is known to be effective. The money will be useful and beneficial in the long run. The money will be used to purchase items such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, gloves, socks, and hygiene items for the care packages. Individuals with mental illness are an underserved community that needs aid. I have always been passionate about doing all I can to give them that help. Not only would I be grateful for your contribution, but Collin County, the MHMC program, and the individuals benefiting from this would be as well.
