The next few months, I will be working on my final product. Final product is a original idea generation project where we create and organize something relevant to our field of study. This year, after much consideration and discussion with my mentor, I have decided to set up a care package system for the Mental Health Managed Counsel Program. All of the individuals in the Mental Health Managed Counsel program have a mental illness. As a result, a significant number of them are homeless. Nonetheless, homeless or not, many of them are in need of basic clothing that can keep them warm and hygiene items. The fact of the matter is, many of the inmates released have little to nothing besides a few belongings and a thin tattered shirt. By providing care packages upon release, these mentally ill inmates will be better provided for. Though it is not much, I am certain it will make a difference. So far, I have been working on procuring the items that will go into the package. The biggest obstacle I must face in the next month is funding. Other than that, the rest of it will be a breeze.
