This past week, I went on a research interviews that was different from my first one of the year for two main reasons. First and foremost, this interview was centered on a different field of study; Criminology. Secondly, it was a face to face interview rather than one over the phone. Now although my first interview was a research interview, the feeling isn't quite the same as the one you get during a in person one. Not only do you have to worry about your body language, but you have to think about proper eye contact and professional attire. However, with all the practice I got last year, the interview went smoothly. In fact, it definitely makes my top three interview list of all time. This one was unique for three main reason;
1. I got a tour of the police department and learned about its history before sitting down for the interview.
2. The officer I had the honor interviewing was really great at providing descriptive answers and was very friendly!
3. Before I left, I was given some cool souvenirs like a pen, bracelet, and cup cooler!
Now onto the main question. Why did you title your post 'Interviews Galore'? Well the answer to that is that I have a busy week with two more interviews schedule and at least three more candidates that I'm are very likely to agree to an interview with me. So far, I can say that Criminology is a terribly fascinating field that I am glad to have chosen as my field of study!
