Weekly Report 31: Final Product Part 1

Over the weekend, I have been relentlessly working on my ISM Final Product. For my product, I have decided to create a book this year. It is meant to act a introductory piece to stimulate interest in the highly specialized field. As someone who is studying forensic psychiatry, I have found that there is a severe lack of rudimentary books for those interested. On one hand, there are informational sources that are very general and not detailed. On the other hand, there are various technical books that are too complex for an average person to understand. Additionally, the length and jargon of such books do little to keep the readers attention. This is because the works are meant for highly educated professionals who are well versed in the subject. As a result, there is not much middle ground, which is what I have set out to create. My book describes numerous forensic evaluations in enough detail for it to be educational, but is simple enough for the public to understand. I will include more information and sneak peeks on my book as we get closer to Final Presentation Night.
