Ms. Alyse Ferguson is the attorney director of Collin County’s Mental Health Managed Counsel Program (MHMC Program). She is responsible for managing specially trained attorneys who represent indigent defendants with mental illness. Ms. Ferguson was in private practice as a criminal defense attorney for nine years and previously worked as case manager for the MHMR (Mental Health Mental Retardation) program in Concho Valley. In 2005, she became a Texas sex crimes defense attorney and partner at Stuckle & Ferguson. Afterwards, she became the attorney director of the MHMC program. She is an advocate for mental health services and works to further services for treatment and care of mental illness. Ms. Ferguson is a graduate of Angelo State University with a BS in psychology and criminal justice and an MS in counseling psychology, and she holds a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law.
