Mitchell H. Dunn, M.D., is a board-certified forensic psychiatrist.  He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and has been in practice for 25 years. Dr. Dunn spends the vast majority of his time as the medical director of Terrell State Hospital’s forensic program. He also has a private practice in Dallas, Texas. He has expertise in criminal evaluations involving the determination of competency to stand trial and insanity, as well as civil determinations of malpractice, testamentary capacity, disability, and fitness-for-duty. In addition, he acts as a consultant to the Texas Medical Board.
